The pelvis is like the central hub of the body.  You can move your wrist and it has little impact on the rest of your body.  Move your pelvis.  Go ahead, just lift your left hip up.  Give it a try.  The whole rest of your body must reorganize in-response to this movement.  Your head, spine, shoulders, knees, legs and feet all have a different story to tell with the tilt of the pelvis.  It’s like the hub of the car. Experiencing and enhancing your pelvis’s own restorative capacities will dramatically impact the whole body and mind.

You have 60,000 thoughts a day.  Many of those thoughts are in the form of images. How many of those thoughts & images are actually useful?   Explore the power of the mind to create change in your body and in your life.  Experience what many of us associate with the benefits of meditation & mindfulness….while you move & exercise.

Each workshop begins with a powerful series of scientific based mind/body imagery exercises to demonstrate how you can use your brain to improve your body’s function and your life experience. In this Unlock the Hips & Liberate the Back Workshop you will:

  • Image and feel the masterful design of your pelvis, as the core of your movement experience, it is the gateway to resolving pain/tightness immobility in any part of the body particularly the knees, back and feet
  • Train and balance the pelvic joints and muscles using balls and thera- bands
  • Combine the power of the mind & body to release tension, improve flexibility, improve performance, and guide optimal movement
  • Learn how balancing the sacrum is key to safe, flexible and aligned movement of the back, knees and legs
  • Improve focus, coordination, flexibility and strength of the body by combining mental and physical training
